The Dynaudio Acoustics nearfield monitor BM5 is a 2-way passive system comprising a 175mm (6.5")woofer and a 28mm (1.25") soft dome tweeter with neodynium magnet, housed in a front ported cabinet

The BM5 is a clean, powerful and accurate monitor where excellent results are achieved with good quality amplifiers.

The BM5 is specifically designed for use in computer-based project studios where the monitor needs to be magnetically shielded. This is achieved by incorporating a high frequency soft dome driver that has a neodymium magnet housed within the aluminium voice coil to prevent its magnetic field from affecting computer monitors. It also has a port in the front baffle making it inherently suitable for mounting within an enclose area – i.e. surround channels for television post production.
