The Apex162PP is a Phantom Power supply cord designed for use with minidisk mics and minidisk players/recorders. Designed to be used with the Apex162, this inexpensive cable can provide that Phantom Power for those condenser mics being used with minidisk recorders that do not provide the Phantom Power necessary.

To know whether your minidisk recorder provides Phantom Power, consult your minidisk player's manual for either 'Phantom Power' or 'Plug in Power' supply capabilities.
