The X-48MKII 48-Track Hybrid Hard Disk Workstation from TASCAM, and co-developed by SaneWave, is a standalone 48-track hybrid audio workstation ideal for mixing, editing, and more. The chassis can be mounted on a desk or in an equipment rack for terrific versatility. It has a 1TB internal hard drive that offers up to 48 hours of continuous recording at 44.1kHz or 20 hours of continuous recording at 96kHz. A dual-core Intel ATOM processor ensures speedy operation of all tasks.

The X-48MKII also has a 48-channel digital mixer and powerful editing functions. There are eSATA and USB interfaces, allowing you to connect external components and equipment. You can connect a VGA monitor, mouse, and keyboard for editing, track naming, and monitor mixing. A graphical user interface and HDTV tri-level sync provide simple and intuitive operation. An onboard DVD burner makes it easy to create discs of your fully mixed and edited masterpieces.
