Arturia's debut analog drum machine DrumBrute is now available in a limited edition dark and stylish design. Featuring a sleek and modern twist on Michelangelo's “The Creation of Adam”, this unique DrumBrute edition is meant to inspire musicians in the their creative process to make new and exciting music in their own personal way. With the vast majority of the past few decades' drum machine designs largely being emulations of the great machines that have gone before, Arturia’s introduction of a fully analog hardware drum machine with organic, integral sound creation is a major event.

The DrumBrute is firmly rooted in the classic drum machines, but it builds upon these traditions in terms of superior audio specifications and lower noise floor than the rhythm composers that paved the way. It also features far greater versatility in sound generation and programming options than the classic machines ever had. The DrumBrute offers seventeen true analog sounds, unique performance effects, a modern step sequencer, tremendous ease of use and state-of-the-art connectivity. It bridges the old world with the new, and leaves a wide-open palette of parameter-level sound creation, programming and synchronization options.

Sound
The sound of DrumBrute is based on the best classic analog drum machines. Sound profiles were created from the past but then the circuits were designed to build up DrumBrute’s own much-beloved and well established sound signature. Individual tones include two styles of kick drums, a wide-ranging snare and clap setting, two hi hats with tone and separate decay times, reverse cymbal, zap and more.

DrumBrute is designed to give musicians the same great hands-on experience they get from other award-winning Brute instruments. If you are already familiar with the Brute-style interface niceties, you will slide into using this drum machine with the greatest ease. Performance
DrumBrute is not only about creating a beat: it’s also about tweaking it and making it evolve in real time. DrumBrute adds loads of innovative features like Step Repeat, Pattern Looper, Mute/Solo groups and song mode, along with Randomness and Swing functions per track. Finger drummers will love the ability to play quantized or semi-quantized on ultra sensitive pads.

Connectivity
DrumBrute is the only analog drum machine in its price category to offer as much as 12 separate audio outputs. And apart from its detailed audio connectivity, it is practically universal when it comes to syncing with your existing system. It will basically sync with any set up: Eurorack, vintage Roland gear, Korg Volca, popular DAWs, MIDI devices and more.
