Pioneers of the Plug
Ovation introduced the first acoustic/electric guitars in 1971. They were an instant success with pros, and a whole new category of instruments was created. It was well over ten years before other guitarmakers offered anything that worked remotely as well as the Ovation pickup/preamp system.

The OP-24+ features three EQ bands with the ability to shift the mid band to either a 400Hz or 1KHz center frequency. It also features a Pre-Shape circuit that lifts the base and treble and reduces the "rumble" frequencies below 40Hz.
