For players not interested in synth access Godin designed the Multiac Duet. The Multiac Duet is an ’Acoustic Guitar System’. Plugged in the Multiac Duet produces the sort of fidelity that you normally associate with a high end condenser mic on a full body acoustic guitar but delivers this level of performance in a slim body instrument that easily surpasses most players expectations of how comfortable an acoustic guitar can be.

Duet Controls
Volume

Low EQ - (+ or -12dB @ 85Hz)

Mid EQ - (+ or -12dB @ 660Hz)

In the steel string version a slight cut with this control often produces a more natural sound, in the the nylon Multiac a slight boost of the midrange is often desirable.

High EQ - (+ or - 12dB @ 10kHz)

Presence Control - ( + or - 6dB @ 5kHz) Boosting here adds life to a dull sounding speaker, or cut slightly to remove a glaring P.A. horn.

Notch Control - This one actually involves two control knobs one for frequency selection and the other to boost or cut the selected frequency. This is primarily used for feedback reduction and can be used to enhance low end EQ as well.

Mix Control - Allows you to blend the amount of mic and pickup signal in the final output.

Colors: Trans. Blue, CognacBurst, Natural High-Gloss, Natural Semi-Gloss
