QSC Audio Products introduces the PL 6.0 II power amplifier, a new addition to its PowerLight series designed for professional touring, permanent installations, and other sound-reinforcement applications requiring high levels of sustained power. The amplifier uses QSC’s PowerWave switching power supply technology and its proprietary DataPort for remote computer control and DSP. The PL 6.0 II delivers 3,500W/channel @ 2ohms, 2,200W/channel @ 4ohms, and 1300W/channel @ 8ohms (EIA rated). The unit also includes unique clip-tracking circuitry that provides instant recovery and maintains constant damping. For setting and resetting levels, the PL6.0 II provides detented gain controls with 2dB steps.
