Your Yamaha DTX500K Electronic Drum Set comes with four snare / tom pads, two cymbal pads, a hi-hat pad with pedal controller and a bass drum pad along with the pre-assembled RS40 Drum Rack which is designed for easy set-up and transport. The pads have a traditional and familiar "practice pad" surface with excellent stick rebound. You can also expand or upgrade your drum set with the acclaimed Yamaha DTX-PADs with true acoustic feel and response.

The heart and soul of the kit is the excellent Yamaha DTX500 Drum Module. With 427 drum, percussion and effects sounds, 50 preset drum kits covering virtually every genre and 20 User kits in which you can create and store your own kits, your DTK500K drum set has all of the sound quality and versatility demanded by top players.

There are also 63 preset songs from all genres and 20 user song locations to create your own. There is also a high-quality Click function with the ability to customize the rhythm and tone functions to your liking. "Groove-Check" and "Rhythm-Gate" features help you to better enjoy practicing and to develop your timing.

Other features of the DTX500 Drum Module include an AUX IN jack that allows you to connect an MP3 player or similar device for playing along with your own music, a recording function for capturing your performances, on-board high-quality digital reverb effects that add many different kinds of reverb and ambience to your playing, MIDI OUT for controlling external gear or linking to computer software and 12 trigger inputs that are compatible with a wide range of pads and triggers.
