The Dean ML Archtop Series
Featuring a carved flame maple top, mahogany body & neck, rosewood fingerboard, and abalone binding, the Dean ML AT3000 and ML ATF3000 guitars combine immaculate design with highly impressive sound and performance.

Add black hardware, Grover tuners, Original Floyd Rose or Tune-o-Matic bridges, a DMT Baker Act bridge pickup and DMT Time Capsule neck pickup and you have the next generation of Dean's flagship instrument, the legendary Dean ML.

Mahogany Body with Carved Flame Maple Top
As with the original ML guitars, Dean uses a mahogany body for the ML ATF3000. Mahogany is a common choice for electrics, dependably delivering a warm, full tone with plenty of punch and sustain.

The carved flamed maple top is a gorgeous addition, and the transparent finishes really show it off. It also focuses the mahogany tone, adding moreclarity to your notes/chords, along with a little extra high-end bite.

The body (along with the neck and headstock) is bound in abalone, the icing on the cake for this visually striking instrument.

Set Neck Construction
The ML ATF3000 features a set mahogany neck, which imparts all the well-known advantages of that style: a warmer overall tone with extended low-end response, wicked sustain, and easy upper-fret access (enhanced even further by the cutaways).

The 24-3/4-inch scale neck features a rosewood fingerboard with abalone dot inlays, and is bound in abalone like the rest of the guitar.

DMT Pickups
The MLATF3000 features a DMT Baker Act pickup by the bridge. Named after Dean's Pat Baker, the driving force behind their line of pickups, these pickups feature alnico V magnets, delivering the high-output, guts and grit that Dean players expect. In the neck position is a Time Capsule. This pickup captures the biting tones of the vintage Dean instuments produced from 1977 to 1986, with very strong lows and mids.

The standard three-way selector allows bridge, neck, or a combination. Each pickup gets a volume pot, and they share the tone control.

Grover Tuners
If you play guitar then you know what this means--solid, dependable tuning from the industry standard. These guitar machines are a triumph in engineering and style, with a gear ratio of 14:1, perfect gear meshing, and zero backlash and slippage. The gear box has a special lubricant for lifetime, trouble-free service.

Tune-o-Matic Bridge
The Tune-o-Matic bridge with string-thru body design provides even more sustain, along with precise intonation for your tuning preference. The classic v-shaped plate mirrors the headstock wings for some nice vintage Dean style.
