It also offers significant power with a resilient punch not typically found in generic aluminum snare drums.

Tama's work on identifying the ideal snare sound led them to develop the new "Sound Arc" Hoops which add sustain, wider tuning range and a fuller frequency response. These innovations have enabled the drum to have a great high to low range.
