In addition, the practical rotary encoder allows you to browse sounds and presets in next to no time.

The 4x4 layout makes the CMC-PD the ideal hardware partner for MPC-style, virtual drum samplers such as Steinberg's Groove Agent ONE or external hardware sound modules. But the CMC-PD also works wonders as an all-in-one DAW control desk. And with the included PD Editor software you can easily change the MIDI note assignment for each pad.
