Brought back to life from the H-8 Hagstrom bass first introduced in the 1960's, the HB-8 was designed and built to produce the tones reminiscent of yesteryear, while still being able to produce the familiar modern bass tones, as heard today.

Thanks to the pickup configuration of the 6-way rotary switch, a multitude of tones are possible with this 8-stringed monster!

The HB-8 has an extremely comfortable thin neck, which is further reinforced with Hagstrom's own H-Expander truss rod to provide years of playing enjoyment for decades to come.
