Gretsch's 6" x 12" Mahogany Popcorn Snare Drum in Silver Sparkle has nothing to do with the delicious buttery treat, unfortunately.

This drum is called a "popcorn drum" because of it's small size and light "pop" sound. It's made of mahogany and has a super sparkly gold foil wrap with extra shiny chrome hardware.

It also has the stock coiled wire snares with an adjustable throw off making it easy to turn on and off the snare with a flick of the finger.

This effect drum would be perfect for ska, punk, rock and any drum set up that needs that extra bit of "pop" in their sound.
