Both GX models are all-composite, acoustically tailored Grand Auditorium-sized guitars with a cutaway that provides full bass response and easy access to upper frets with its no-heel neck joint. The GX is braced with Composite Acoustics' performance-tuned lightweight carbon fiber bracing for well-balanced volume on every note. The GX provides a very quick and clean response - excellent for chord strumming and flat picking. Its comfortable double-cut sculpted back will make you think this guitar was made just for you.

As stated above, this particular model GX Carbon Fiber acoustic-electric guitar features a narrower neck (1.69" nut width) for faster play that'll feel more familiar to electric players. It is also equipped with Trace Acoustic AGP electronics with no-nonsense volume, bass and treble controls. This gives the plugged-in tone more of a hot mic'd sound as opposed to that of a piezo.
