The Premier Resonator range was launched in the 1970s. The drums have double shells - a conventional outer shell, plus a thin inner shell separated from it by a pocket of air. The design was called Resonator as it is essentially a sound box inside the drum that produces 18% greater volume. Early versions are prized for art deco detailing, and the Resonator was a favorite of Keith Moon and Many others.
