The AKG model D3300S is a rugged dynamic microphone intended for both vocal and instrumental on-stage applications. Its hypercardioid polar pattern is uniform with frequency and response has been boosted at mid and high frequencies for improved speech intelligibility and crisp instrumental pickup. The microphone has a heavy-duty steel screen with an integral support frame. The inner pop filter is easily removable for cleaning or replacement. The D3300S incorporates a Doubleflex shockmounting system used in the capsule assembly that places the primary resonance of the moving system well below the audible range, resulting in excellent isolation from handling and cable-induced noises. The lightweight body is die-cast zinc alloy and has a black matte finish for minimum reflection and glare. The microphone also features a recessed noise-free on/off switch for ease and flexibility.
