Reacting exactly like a great tube amp, the newly designed AC Booster V2 offers a wide range of overdrive with touch sensitivity just like the original AC Booster.

The AC Booster-V2 delivers a broad spectrum of overdriven tones, from subtle warmth to saturated crunch, while maintaining clarity and balance. Its amp-like touch sensitivity ensures an organic playing experience, responding fluidly to picking dynamics and volume adjustments.

You can set it up to get a crunchy warm overdriven tone and with just a little rolling off of the guitar’s volume, it will give you a great clean sound. A 4-pole dip switch on the side of the pedal offers more “tone” shaping at your fingertips.

Voltage Doubler
The Xotic “Voltage Doubler” is a step-up converter that takes 9 volts DC and boosts it to an output voltage of 15 or 18 VDC (max current draw 80mA).

Why do you need a voltage doubler? Higher voltage levels result in more headroom. When you boost the voltage you find your Xotic pedals will get much more dynamic, more headroom, top end and brightness, less compressed sound.
